As a retired pastor, I was looking for ways to live out my faith.

The Bible tells us that one of the very important ways we respond to God's love is how we treat the poor, orphans, widows, strangers in our land and all people in need.

I see the values expressed by KBAD and the Democratic Party as being compatible with not only my theological but also my social and political values. May God bless our efforts to peacefully change, through the electoral process, what is happening in our state and nation.
