Greg has lived in Buda for nearly six years, but has spent almost two decades in Hays County. He is dedicated to the thoughtful and strategic growth of Buda and brings leadership experience to the City Council in working towards mutually beneficial developments across our city. He believes it is fundamental that city council members support the growth of small businesses and economic development in Buda, while preserving the small-town charm and upholding our reputation as the "Outdoor Capital of Texas" through our many parks and trails.

Greg holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida. His background is in business and technology, having held multiple leadership roles in IT, leading teams for Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies across multiple industries. He currently serves in senior management for a leading Austin-based credit union, University Federal Credit Union. Greg's professional experience includes team leadership, vendor management, handling multi-million-dollar budgets, and project management for small- and large-scale projects.

Greg and his wife Amanda have two children that attend schools within Hays Consolidated Independent School District. Amanda is an elementary school teacher at Sunfield Elementary. As a family, they enjoy playing sports, visiting our local parks, and helping at the family cattle ranch. Greg also volunteers his time with several Hays County and Austin charities, and his neighborhood HOA.

I am currently actively reviewing and researching many items, including the recently approved 2025 budget, details around our water availability and the 2022 bonds, Code of Ordinances, and the Buda strategic plan. I am extremely excited for this opportunity to serve the residents of Single Member District A and the City and continue making Buda a place we are proud to call home!

Greg
