Why I joined KBAD? This little guy, Benjamin.

I love my son. And as a new father, I'm concerned.

I'm concerned about what the world will look like in 20 years when my son becomes a man. I'm concerned about how this country will treat him as he makes his way through this wonderful thing called life.

Like many have since 2016, I have endured all the phases: denial, anger, bargaining, depression,... but not acceptance. Because I don't accept the direction we're going.

Now I've followed national politics and done my part in voting every couple of years - but that's not enough anymore. The gravity of our circumstance calls for action.

So I'm doing what I can, putting my talents to work for the Democratic Cause, Our Cause, Benjamin's Cause.
