Mission

Kyle/Buda-Area Democrats' mission is to elect Democrats at every level of government who will lead the fight for justice, equality, and equal opportunity while holding them and ourselves accountable to our communities. We do this by:

• Actively promoting the ideals and tenets of the Democratic Party including affordable health care, diversity and inclusion, and an economy that works for all;
• Engaging, empowering, and involving all communities of interest in our area, and always striving for transparency in all of our work;
• Participating in and hosting community service projects, programming, and community outreach in the Kyle/Buda area year-round to strengthen the Democratic base;
• Informing, and educating Kyle and Buda voters about all local, state, and federal elections and their candidates;
• Providing public forums for potential Democratic candidates to discuss and debate their platforms and issues important to the community;
• Promoting and assisting in the campaigns of Democratic candidates who have received the nomination of the Democratic Party by winning their primary election;
• Mobilizing and activating all Kyle and Buda Democratic voters with a target emphasis on minority populations via culturally appropriate and accessible educational programming, community outreach, and action while addressing language and ability differences; and,
• Being fundamentally community-driven by seeking and using community input, interests and needs to prioritize KBAD’s initiatives.
